NaanDanJain completed several mega Turnkey projects in Qinghai and Gansu provinces, China. These projects are part of the Sino-Israeli Agreement Protocol between the Israeli and Chinese governments, which encourages Israeli manufacturers to export to China by giving the Chinese government financed credit to acquire Israeli products in different fields, including agriculture.
The projects are providing comprehensive irrigation systems solutions for a total of 6,800 Hectares of agricultural land, as well as supplying and installing equipment in more than 150 different counties. The three projects also included the complex logistics of handling hundreds of products on their way to various regions throughout China.
The projects focus on passing on the knowledge accumulated by the company over years of developing drip irrigation technologies, improving the agricultural processing capacity of small farms in China, and increasing awareness of water-saving.
An interview at IsraelAgri said Amir Bar, vice president at NaanDanJain.
“This is a huge scale project. NaanDanJain supervises the installation at all sites to ensure correct implementation of the systems and conducts training seminars for the Chinese government’s water engineers in the correct operation and maintenance of the systems.
This knowledge is then passed on to more than 5,000 of small farm owners in the arid regions of northern China, enabling them to improve agricultural productivity and save on water consumption.”
